spring has sprung?

Today was *finally* a beautiful, warm and sunny day in Mason! We all enjoyed a great afternoon outside just hanging out in the neighborhood.

This seems to be the most popular travel method for the kids...

We spent a little bit of time feeding the ducks in our little lake.

Rachel seemed a little scared of that white one because it would come up really close!

Jason decided he would take the wagon back empty. Daddy carried Rachel.

Jason traced Daddy in chalk and then layed down next to it so we could see that he is bigger? Notice that the 'drawing' of Steve has a striped shirt on and that Steve is wearing a striped shirt? It's a very accurate depiction of him!

The kids had a few little mishaps with these out of control methods of kid transportation.

And Rachel was pedaling! She didn't pedal last summer. Are the kids supposed to grow up?? (I should mention that Rachel is now sleeping through the night in her new bed too! What a relief that is...)

We topped the day off with a grill out and ate outside. Not bad for early March, eh?

Spring is my most favorite season of them all and I am so excited that its coming! It'll be back in the 40s by the end of the week but I am grateful that we had a taste of it today!
