the coat

Unlike Jason, Rachel is a real "blanket" baby. She carries her blankets *everywhere*. It doesn't matter which one, but she loves to carry them around. She even eats with them....

Ok, she is 19 months - this is all normal for her age. But what about her coat? She LOVES her coat just as much as she loves her blankets. Oftentimes she won't detach from it when she comes inside. Two nights ago, we realized we didn't get it out of her sight soon enough so yes - she actually went to bed with her coat, woke up with it in her arms and carried it over to our bed where she latched onto to it for dear life. At school, they have to put it up high when she arrives. They do let her carry around her blanket - but once it's dropped, they hide it.

This reminds me of Linus from the Peanuts. Although I don't recall him being attached to his coat....??
