Every morning, Rachel hangs out in our bed with us after she wakes up (sometime between 6-7am). She is really good about it though - she'll actually let us semi-sleep until 8ish on the weekends while she watches her shows. On workdays, she hangs out in bed watching her shows or in the bathroom with me while I get ready. More often than not, she takes that blanket into the bathroom, while I am getting ready, and wants to show me her "animals". So we sit on the floor and we look at animals on her "blankie". She often points out that purple is her favorite color but sometimes she says "its PINK! my favorite color". She definitely is more consistent with purple though. She is well aware that although Jason's favorite color has *always* been green, he has recently changed it to red (like mine!) so she made it a point, today, to point out that there are no red animals, on her blanket, for me or Jason.

This is Rachel in her new jammies. It was a gift from Aunt Paula. In fact, the jammies, the big pink carebear AND the "blankie" were all gifts from Aunt Paula. Looks like Aunt Paula knows what Rachel really likes! Rachel can't live without her "blankie".

And then there is Jason with his Wii. He can't get enough of Batman and all his other games. Wii is a really great thing but sometimes I have to wonder if we are just simply bad parents for the amount of time we let him play it! We are working on that though.... :)
