first grade orientation

Today, at 11am was Jason's first grade orientation and "meet the teacher". The thing is... there was no teacher which was a big disappointment. His teacher, Mrs. Jenny Davis, was sick. She actually had come in but they sent her home because she was not feeling good at all. So we walked in the room and there was a video of her saying how sorry she was that she could not be there and that she felt terrible about missing meeting her kids and that she looks forward to meeting the kids

So, we found his room. Saw his cubby. Walked him out to where he would be dropped off by the bus (this school is HUGE for just having preschool, K and 1st graders!) and he practiced walking to his room.

First grade starts tomorrow. I can't believe my baby boy is in FIRST GRADE!!!
