For the second week in a row, it rained while we took Jason to his swimming lesson. What is up with that? :) Jason is doing so well in the water now. Today, only 2 other kids showed up out of a class of 6 so he got a lot of attention. He is learning to float on his back and on his tummy and to blow bubbles in the water. He gets so excited when he goes underwater and gets his hair wet. The three of them were so good that they all got to go down the frog slide 2 times at the end of class.
Should one of us take Jason to his swim lessons? We are both so excited to see him in class that we both go and take Rachel along and she cannot be contained. She wants to walk and she walks right up to the pool and then giggles when we come over to scoop her up. At least the other parents are entertained by watching us get up ... and down... and up... and down... Steve took her for a walk today and totally distracted Jason by holding her up in the window over the pool on the second floor. I don't think he realized that Jason kept yelling out from the pool "why is daddy and Rachel up there?!?!?!?!" Ahhhhh. Sometimes it hurts to think about how the innocence of a 4 year old, who will blurt out anything, will get taken away as he gets older.
