children's museum

Today we took the kids to the Children's museum. It was more like a giant educational playroom, more than a museum but the kids loved it there. Jason got to dress up as a dentist, a pizza guy making pizzas in the kitchen (with his little helper Rachel!) and captain of a ship. The kids got to make HUGE bubbles and see little animals. I had fun running around snapping these photos of them.

After the museum, we finally found out what "calabash seafood" was. There are a million restaurants down the strip with that name. We ate at one tonight for our "final supper" in Myrtle Beach. 'Calabash seafood' means fried seafood. But in reality it was just a HUGE seafood buffet - much like you see with the chinese ones. There was plenty of fried and grilled food there including very delicious crab legs. It was a good meal to sadly, end our trip before starting the journey for home tomorrow.

Steve and I enjoyed a few last cocktails at the Red Parrot this evening. It was karaoke night and It was PACKED. We met some really young military couple. The guy was 21 years old and so incredibly immature. However, he did live in a submarine for 90 days straight. I guess he can't be half bad. :)
